Overwhelmed at the prospect of getting through college
admission season with your relationships intact?
Wondering how to best help a teenager who may know more
than you do about this process? Or do you just want
great advice from parents and students who learned “the
hard way”? This event features a diverse panel of past
Mission students who have forged their own paths to
success in college admissions and beyond, top ten
survival tips for parents and students, advice from an
“expert”, plus fun give-aways, tips and tricks, and a
lot of Q & A time. This event is designed to
complement our MSJHS Career Center and Counseling
College Events!
“Thriving! Why Emotionally Resilient People Succeed”
Thursday, November 19, in C-120 from 7 – 8:30 pm
RSVP - Reserve your
spot now!
Ever wonder why some people succeed despite their
circumstances and others fail even though they seem to
have everything? This evening discusses why it’s
crucial to raise emotionally resilient people, how we
can do that regardless of our circumstances and why it’s
important to be emotionally resilient ourselves. This is
a workshop with renowned speakers and a student panel.
If you could reserve your spot and aid our planning
efforts, we would be very grateful!
