Parent Perspectives Meeting Wednesday, June 2 in Faculty Lounge Bldg A @ 7-8:30 PM facilitated by Zack Larsen and Martha Kreeger. Briefing the parent community on the purpose of SOS, covering the past two years of strategy execution and results, and getting current parent perspectives for goal setting in 2010-2011.

Rising Seniors! Workshop Thursday, May 27, 2010 in C-120 @ 6 – 7:30 PM. Sponsored by MSJHS Counseling Office and Mission: SOS this event featured administrator for the class of 2011 Diana Brumbaugh, counselor Amy Drolette, student speakers, and parents and covered the college season.

“College Choices: Pathways to Success”

This event features a diverse panel of past Mission students who have forged their own paths to success in college admissions and beyond, top ten survival tips for parents and students, advice from an “expert”, plus fun give-aways, tips and tricks, and a lot of Q & A time. This event is designed to complement our MSJHS Career Center and Counseling College Events!

“Thriving! Why Emotionally Resilient People Succeed”
Thursday, November 19, in C-120 from 7 – 8:30 pm
This evening discusses why it’s crucial to raise emotionally resilient people, how we can do that regardless of our circumstances and why it’s important to be emotionally resilient ourselves. This is a workshop with renowned speakers and a student panel. If you could reserve your spot and aid our planning efforts, we would be very grateful!
