Our mission: To support a school environment that nurtures integrity, academic engagement, connectedness and well being.

Over the summer 2007, the Mission: SOS Team planned four events that tackled the two action steps set for the 2007-2008 academic year; developing a stress education for students and developing a stress education program for parents.

Each event will be designed around:

  • defining stress for our educational community
  • building ties within the community through communication
  • listening to all stakeholders
  • developing leadership
  • generating solutions

Each event will be for adults and students.  Each event will give cross stakeholder groups strong leadership opportunities and support voices that are not often heard.
